Best Ways to Learn Italian in the South (Apps vs Tutors vs Comune Classes)

I've tried Duolingo, a local tutor, and evening classes at the Comune. Tutor wins for speaking confidence. What worked for you?

Tandem app + coffee with neighbors. Learning dialect words helps break the ice too!

Check local libraries for language exchanges (tandem linguistico). Free and social.

App for vocab (Memrise) + weekly chat with my neighbor. The mix builds confidence.

Apps helped for basics, but a weekly tutor made the biggest difference for speaking. Comune classes were good value but mixed levels.
